PENGARUH MEDIA TANAM DAN DOSIS PUPUK FOSFAT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH

Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of growing media and dosage of phosphate fertilizer on the growth and yield of red onion plants. This research was conducted in Cot Raya Village, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar District. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) on a 3 x 3 factorial with 3 replications. There were two factors studied, namely the planting medium which consisted of 3 levels, namely 1 part soil : 2 parts manure : 1 part husk (M1), 2 parts soil : 1 part
manure : 1 part husk (M2), and 1 part of soil; 1 part of manure : 2 parts of husk (M3) and doses of phosphate fertilizer with 3 levels, namely P1 = 1.0 g/polybag (200 kg/ha), P2=1.25 g/polybag (250kg/ha), P3=1.50 g/polybag (300 kg/ha), the variables observed were plant height and number of leaves per hill at 15, 30 and 45 days after planting (dap), number of tubers per hill at 70 dap, tuber weight dry. The results showed there was not significant interaction between planting media andphosphate fertilizer doses. The treatment of the growing media did not significantly affect all of
the observed variables in the study. Phosphate fertilizer doses had a very significant effect on plant height at 15 dap, but had no significant effect on plant height at 30 and 45 dap, number of tubers and weight dry bulb of shallot plants.
