ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA PEDAGANG KECIL PASCA RELOKASI (Studi Pada Pedagang di Pasar Al-Mahirah Lamdingin Kota Banda Aceh)

Abstrak

Street vendors often cause problems of order. Therefore, relocation to the new market is a policy of the Banda Aceh City government to overcome the problems of street vendors in the Peunayong area. But this plan faced a lot of resistance from traders, due to concerns that traders would lose their customers. This study aims to determine the welfare and obstacles faced by small traders in the Al-Mahirah Lamdingin market in Banda Aceh City after the relocation. This study uses a Qualitative method. Data collection uses observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Data validity checks use the data source triangulation method. The results of the study showed that, after being relocated to the new Al Mahirah market, traders experienced a decrease in income and lost their old customers from the old market. This has a direct impact on the economic life of the trader's family. Such as reduced income for the family, reduced business capital, and difficulty getting new customers in the new Al Mahirah market after the relocation. The obstacles faced were inadequate facilities, such as sales tables that were considered too small for traders. The size of the kiosk was also considered too small to place various basic necessities, and the location far from the city center made many traders lose their old customers from the old market, because of the long access to the new Al Mahirah market. The conclusion of the study, after being relocated to the new Al Mahirah market, traders experienced a decrease in income and lost their old customers from the old market. The research suggestion, for the Banda Aceh City Government, is expected to make improvements to trader facilities, such as expanding the trading table, as well as the size of the trader's kiosk and improving drainage around the market.
