The Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service as an institution that handles fires has established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/Permanent Procedures (PROTAP) related to fire management which includes prevention, handling, rescue, supervision and control, evaluation of follow-up and rehabilitation. The research was conducted at the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service with 5 informants. The purpose of this study was to determine the public's perception of the socialization and SOP of the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with the main data collection tools in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the socialization carried out by firefighters regarding rescue was by approaching the community directly by conducting socialization through Rescue information approaches. With this socialization, it makes it easier for firefighters to improve the use of facilities. Socialization using a social interaction approach has been very effective in disseminating the concept of employee performance of the Fire and Rescue Service. From the whole community who participated in the socialization, they felt quite satisfied with the delivery of the existing message, and understood the Performance of the Fire and Rescue Service employees who recommended the use of rescue itself. Socialization is considered effective in inviting the community to use rescue and can interact directly so that community participation increases.
