Abstract

The purpose of this research to find the response of tomato plant to growth and yield due to concentrations of foliar fertilizer and biofertilizer as well as the interaction between these two factors, carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Iskandarmuda University, Surien Village, Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh, from February to June 2021. This research used Completely Randomized Design 4x3 factorial pattern with 3 replications. There were 2 factors studied, namely the concentration of foliar fertilizers (0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 ml/l water) and the concentration of biofertilizers (0, 5, 10 ml/l water). The results showed that the concentration of foliar fertilizers had a significant effect on plant height at age of 15 DAP and had not significant effect on plant height at 30 and 45 DAP, number of productive branches at 60 DAP, number of fruit per plant and weight of fruit per plant. The concentration of biofertilizers had a very significant effect on the number of productive branches at 60 DAP, the number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, had a significant effect on plant height at 15 and 30 DAP, and had no significant effect on plant height at 45 DAP. There was no significant interaction between concentrations. foliar fertilizers and biological fertilizers on all growth and yield variables of tomato plants.
