PRINCE was created with the aim of sharing knowledge in the field of civil engineering to the public through articles sent by lecturers, students and practitioners. PRINCE: Journal of Planning and Research in Civil Engineering is a peer review journal. There are 2 most important things in the field of civil engineering, namely planning and research.

All construction work begins with a survey and planning in advance. The survey includes an investigation of the work, either the results of investigations in the field or the results of experiments in the laboratory. While planning is the stage carried out to plan a construction in accordance with the results of a survey or research in the field.

So that the planning and research used in the name PRINCE represents the stages of the construction process in the field of civil engineering.

PRINCE, first published in July 2022 by Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering and published three times a year (March, July, and November).
