PENGARUH JENIS PUPUK KANDANG DAN JARAK TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN TERUNG

Abstract

This research aims was to study type of manure fertilizer and plant spacing that have best
and also identify on the growth and yield of eggplant and the interaction between the two factors.
Randomized Block Design factorial arrange 3 x 3 with two factor was used on this experiment using
three replication. The first factor investigated are type of manure fertilizer (cow, goat, and chickent)
and plant spacing (70 cm x 50 cm, 70 cm x 60 cm , 70 cm x 70 cm). The parameters are
investigation are : plant heigh and trunk diameter at 14, 28, ad 42 days after plant (dap), the number
of productive branch, the number of eggplant fruit, and, the weight of eggplant fruit. The result of
this research type of manure fertilizer showed very significant effect on the plant heigh of 42 dap,
the number of productive branch, the number and the weight of eggplant fruit, significant on plant
heigh at 28 dap anda trunk diameter at 42 dap, but not significant on plant heigh at 14 dap,trunk
diameter at 14 and 28 dap the number and the weight of eggplant fruit. The best type of manure
fertilizer had a chicken manure for vegetatif growth (plant heigh anda trunk diameter) and cow
manure for generative (the number of productive branch, the number of eggplant fruit, and, the
weight of eggplant fruit). Nothing interaction between the two factor were type of manure fertilizer
and plant spacing to all parameters are investigation.
