About the Journal

JULIKA: Journal of Communication Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal managed by the Department of Communication Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Iskandar Muda University. The journal aims to serve as an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners to publish original research and theoretical studies in the field of communication.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, strategic communication, media and journalism, political communication, intercultural communication, digital communication, as well as interdisciplinary studies that intersect communication with social sciences and the humanities such as sociology, political science, and cultural studies.

JULIKA is published twice a year, in June and December. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and originality of the articles published. All articles are available in digital format and are freely accessible under an open access policy, supporting the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
