Abstract

The effectiveness of the work of the General Secretariat is closely related to the characteristics of the organization. Organizational characteristics are expected to improve organizational structure so that it is better, so that the wheels of the organization can run well too. Empirically effective work has not been able to improve the organizational structure of the Aceh Regional Police General Secretariat, so that it can hamper the completion of tasks properly. while the hope through the leadership of the institution, can formulate a task strategy in accordance with the characteristics of the organization and the environment. based on Problem Formulation 1) How are the characteristics of the organization in increasing work effectiveness at the staff of the Aceh Regional Police Secretariat, 2) How are the characteristics of the environment in increasing work effectiveness at the staff of the Aceh Regional Police Secretariat. As for research Objectives 1) To find out and analyze the characteristics of the organization in improving work effectiveness on the staff of the Aceh Regional Police Secretariat. 2) To find out and analyze the characteristics of the environment in increasing work effectiveness at the staff of the Aceh Regional Police Secretariat. In an effort to obtain field data using qualitative methodology using a descriptive qualitative approach (descriptive qualitative research) and data collection techniques and / or knife analysis through observation, interviews and document analysis as well as obtaining field data by utilizing research informants conducted through purposive sampling. The results of the study, in building the effectiveness of the work of the Aceh Regional Police General Secretariat at the level of carrying out the duties carried out by state police personnel relating to the characteristics of workers do not pay attention to the age level of workers, even though the age of unproductive workers can interfere with the completion of an organization's tasks. technological system in running the organization's wheels, so that it can hamper public services. Furthermore, organizational characteristics have also not been able to improve job specialization
