PENGAWASAN KINERJA APARATUR DIREKTORAT SABHARA POLDA ACEH

Abstract

The problem in this study is how to supervise the apparatus of the Aceh Regional Police Sabhara Directorate and how the capabilities of the Sabhara Directorate apparatus in the Aceh Regional Police. This study used a qualitative approach, with the number of informants as many as 5 people. Data collection is done using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that supervision of the Aceh Regional Police apparatus can be carried out through supervision of superiors towards their subordinates through a police performance management system that aims to oversee the work of the police apparatus. On the other hand the hierarchy system applied in the police is also able to increase supervision of subordinates, so that they are able to apply discipline properly. Therefore, the Aceh Regional Police was also supervised the performance of police officers, especially in upholding the discipline of the police code of ethics, so that there were no irregularities in the implementation of the police program. However, supervision of non-governmental institutions is also very much needed to maintain the attitudes and behavior of members of the Aceh Police in particular towards the morale of members of the police in establishing relations with the community, thus creating a good impression in the eyes of the public. The ability of the Aceh Police Regional Police apparatus can be seen from the aspect of physical ability which includes physical health in carrying out tasks so as to be able to support the dynamic strength possessed by members of the police. On the other hand mental ability is also able to influence members of the Aceh Police in carrying out their duties, especially the influence of education and religious experience, because these two elements are important reflections in carrying out their duties. However, managerial ability is also concerning, especially in applying the concept of leadership that seems militaristic which is supported by good communication so as to be able to realize a good work experience in order to increase good work productivity.
