The research was conducted at the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service with 5 informants. The purpose of this study was to determine the public's perception of the socialization and SOP of the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with the main data collection tools in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the socialization carried out by firefighters regarding rescue was by approaching the community directly by conducting socialization through Rescue information approaches. With this socialization, it makes it easier for firefighters to improve the use of facilities. Socialization using a social interaction approach has been very effective in disseminating the concept of employee performance of the Fire and Rescue Service. From the whole community who participated in the socialization, they felt quite satisfied with the delivery of the existing message, and understood the Performance of the Fire and Rescue Service employees who recommended the use of rescue itself. Socialization is considered effective in inviting the community to use rescue and can interact directly so that community participation increases.
Taufik Taufik, T. Food security is the availability of food to meet the needs of every person, both in quantity and quality for each individual to live a healthy, active and productive life. The Aceh government in collaboration with villages through the food security program seeks to increase food production, distribution, and consumption of healthy and nutritious food. The Lambung village food security program is located in the Lambung village PKK park. The research method in this study uses a qualitative research method to obtain detailed information about the Lambung village food security program on community welfare. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with the head and members of the Lambung village food security program, the Lambung village community, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the Lambung village food security program has improved the welfare of the Lambung village community in terms of economy by meeting affordable food needs for the community and absorbing workers from the Lambung village community. The conclusion of this study is that the Lambung village food security program prioritizes food security in its process, so that the community can meet their nutritional needs without having to worry about the safety of the food produced by the program. In addition, the Lambung village food security program also guarantees the quality of the food provided, because the food produced uses organic fertilizers that contain substances needed by plants that are not found in chemical fertilizers.
indrawan ahadi Indra, M.Rizal Fazri.AR, Asifa Usyifaini Copyright (c) 2024 Social Development Journal https://ejournal.unida-aceh.ac.id/index.php/sodju/article/view/958 Mon, 22 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0800 UPAYA BADAN PENANGGULANGAN BENCANA DAERAH (BPBD) TERHADAP MASYARAKAT DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI KOTA BANDA ACEH https://ejournal.unida-aceh.ac.id/index.php/sodju/article/view/951
Confirmed cases of Covid-19 continue to emerge. The Banda Aceh City BPBD is moving to conduct a disciplined campaign for the implementation of health protocols in public places such as markets, so that people do not get Covid-19. This study aims to determine the efforts of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) towards the Community in Efforts to Prevent Covid-19 in Banda Aceh City. The Banda Aceh City BPBD has made serious efforts by collaborating with various agencies and carrying out various activities to prevent the Covid-19 outbreak, through a joint team consisting of the TNI, Polri, Dishub, Satpol PP, Dinkes, BPBD, and several volunteers to carry out various efforts and activities to handle the Covid-19 pandemic, starting from socializing health protocols, to conducting raids at the entrances to regional borders to prevent the entry of people from outside the area who are suspected of being infected with the Covid-19 virus. The obstacles faced are the low public awareness to comply with health protocol rules, especially in public places such as terminals, markets, and coffee shops. Awareness to get vaccinated is also low because people feel they are healthy. Research suggestions, for the Banda Aceh City BPBD, are expected to further increase the role of the Covid-19 Task Force in implementing health protocols. For the Banda Aceh City Government, it is expected to increase the budget for handling Covid-19, considering the still high number of people exposed to Covid-19 in Banda Aceh City
Zulfiansyah Zulfiansyah, T. The high unemployment rate in Gampong Meunasah Intan, Krueng Barona Jaya District, Aceh Besar Regency, is caused by several factors, such as population growth that is not balanced with job opportunities, low community skills, and lack of motivation to work independently. This study aims to analyze the role of government in community empowerment to overcome unemployment and identify obstacles faced in the process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The theories used in this study include community empowerment theory, role theory, human resource theory, and the concept of unemployment. The results of the study show that the village government has not been able to optimally empower the community in overcoming unemployment. Efforts to expand employment still depend on physical development with a labor-intensive system, while the implementation of Appropriate Technology (TTG) is constrained by limited funds. On the other hand, training and skills programs continue to run, although they are only carried out once every three months. Based on these findings, this study recommends that the district government through the village government not only focus on training and skills, but also be more active in obtaining labor-intensive development projects. In addition, transparency in the dissemination of information on job opportunities needs to be improved so that all people have equal access to available job opportunities
Amri, T. These problems include poverty, neglect, disability, natural and social disasters, victims of violence, drug abuse, and child protection. Individuals or groups experiencing these social problems are categorized as Social Welfare Problem Sufferers (PMKS), who require intervention to achieve social welfare. The government has formed Sub-district Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) as an effort to help handle these problems. This study focuses on the role of TKSK in Peukan Bada Sub-district, Aceh Besar Regency, in distributing assistance to PMKS. The survey results show that limited resources and lack of synergy with the government hinder the effectiveness of the TKSK's role. In addition, the wide scope of work with a limited number of workers is a challenge in carrying out their duties. However, community support, the availability of data in each village, and government attention through the provision of facilities are supporting factors for the success of TKSK. This study emphasizes the importance of increasing the number of social workers, strengthening coordination with the government, and optimizing social welfare programs to increase the effectiveness of the TKSK's role in handling PMKS in Peukan Bada Sub-district
Agus Linda, T.
