The research problem is how the involvement of women in political parties in the legislative assembly of Pidie in general is still very low, but in this time the freedom of women to plunge into the world of politics already secured firmly in the rule change Legislation Politics. But still slightly Parties that have female members, as happened in the DPRK Pidie. The number of women in DPRK Pidie only 6 people, this shows the number of women in political institutions has not reached 30% of all prospective Parties in parliament at national and local level. What is the main factor for supporting and inhibiting of women’s involvement in political parties in the legislative assembly of Pidie regency (DPRK Pidie). This study used the qualitative research. The aim of this studt is to illustrate the thesis that women's involvement in political parties in the legislative assembly of Pidie regency (DPRK Pidie) research objectives were to identify and analyze the involvement of women in political parties, to identify and analyze the factors that supporting and inhibiting women's participation in political parties. The method used is a qualitative method by observation, interviewing a number of board members in Pidie DPRK. The results showed that of the 40 board members who are in DPRK Pidie, only 6 women involved in political parties DPRK Pidie, and insufficient quota should be 30% based on the laws that have been set by the government. The Conclusion in this study that women's involvement in political parties in the legislative assembly of Pidie regency (DPRK Pidie) quality of women that really must be considered, such as education, insight, and human resources is a very important factor to be able to function with truth. A woman's ability to determine the success in determining the quality of human resources and for the welfare of the community.
