Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes, student activities, teacher abilities and student responses to learning activities based on Polya plus and cooperative learning models of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type. The subjects of this study were 28 grade VIII students of SMP IT Daruzzahidin Aceh Besar. The procedure for collecting data is through student learning achievement tests, student activity observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and interviews. While data analysis techniques, the authors use descriptive analysis (percentage) in accordance with predetermined completeness criteria. This research lasted for three cycles. In cycle I, learning was not complete because not all the completeness criteria were met. In cycle II, learning is also not complete, but it is more improved than cycle I. In cycle III, learning is complete because all the criteria for completeness have been achieved, namely student learning outcomes, student activity in participating in learning, teacher's ability to manage learning and student responses . Overall, the results of the research which lasted for three cycles showed that learning using the Polya plus and the cooperative learning model of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type was complete. This is indicated by the learning outcomes of students who have achieved completeness with a percentage of 89.3%, student activity in participating in active learning, the teacher's ability to manage learning is very good, and student responses are very positive.
